Welcome to Body Love Self Care. These terms apply to everyone who visits bodyloveselfcare.com, places an order with us, or shops with us in person or at events. By using our site or buying from us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

Body Love Self Care is a family-owned business in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Our online store is hosted on Shopify, which provides our checkout and payment tools.

2. Respect and right to refuse service

We treat every customer with kindness and respect, and we ask the same in return. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or end any interaction with anyone who is verbally abusive, threatening, harassing, or disrespectful toward our team or other customers. This applies in person, at events, online, on social media, and by phone, email, or message. We respect all, and we will accept nothing less.

We may also refuse or cancel any order for any lawful reason, including suspected fraud, a pricing error, or limited stock. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund your payment.

3. Our products

Our products are handmade in small batches, so color, texture, and scent can vary slightly from batch to batch and from the photos on our site. That's part of what makes them handmade.

Our products are cosmetics and home fragrance items. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and nothing on our site is medical advice. Please read every ingredient list before buying, do a patch test before full use, and stop using any product that irritates your skin. If you're pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or have allergies, including nut allergies, talk with your healthcare provider first. Keep products out of reach of children and pets, and follow all directions and safety notes on the label and listing.

4. Prices and availability

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and can change at any time without notice. We may discontinue a product, change it, or limit quantities at any time. Seasonal scents are only available for part of the year. We do our best to keep our site accurate, but if we find an error in a price or description, we may correct it and cancel any affected order.

5. Orders and payment

When you place an order, you agree that the information you give us is accurate and that you're authorized to use your payment method. Your order is accepted when it ships. Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment partners. We don't see or store your full card number.

6. Custom orders

Custom items, such as Custom Diffuser Oil, are made to your request. Please check your order details carefully, because custom items are final sale.

7. Shipping

Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. Once your order is handed to the carrier, delays, loss, or damage in transit are handled through the carrier, and we're happy to help you file a claim. Please make sure your shipping address is correct, because we can't be responsible for orders sent to an address you entered incorrectly.

8. Returns and store credit

Because of the nature of our products, all sales are final and we don't accept returns. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect because of an error on our part, we'll issue a full store credit that never expires. See our Return and Refund Policy for details.

9. Reviews and content you share

When you leave a review, tag us, or share a photo with us, you give us permission to share it on our site and social media, with credit to you where possible. Please keep reviews honest and respectful. We may remove content that is offensive, false, or unrelated to our products.

10. Our content

Everything on this site, including our name, logo, product names, photos, and written content, belongs to Body Love Self Care. Please don't copy or use it without our written permission.

11. Using our site

Please don't use our site for anything illegal, try to interfere with how it works, or upload anything harmful. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we aren't responsible for their content.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Body Love Self Care is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using our site or products. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved.
